Announcements and news

One school, one lineage

Seigokan was born in Kyoto in 1945, founded by Seigo Tada, a student of Chōjun Miyagi, the founder of Goju-ryu. Tada led the school for more than fifty years and left a method, a code of conduct and a way of teaching that his students carried to several countries.

Seigokan Brasil exists to keep that path alive here: to organize the Brazilian dojos and senseis who teach Seigokan Goju-ryu, to look after technical training, to hold seminars and gradings, and to preserve the connection with the headquarters in Japan.
